The following images of the stages of progress in building a custom Mahogany Writing Slope. These images show the pieces and parts included in the construction of this writing desk. Hopefully, this will help explain how the box was created and how it all goes together. We finished the desk by applying several coats of tung oil finish to the wood. Blackberry leather with decorative tooling was applied to the writing panels/flaps.
